The days of summer are long but they are going by swiftly. Starting July 10, children have the unique opportunity to spend time at Cat Anderson’s former home, the spacious 17.5 acre Quincy Farm.
Kent Denver School will hold two educational camps at Quincy Farm for kids who need some time outdoors and want to learn about Colorado’s agricultural pastime. The two camps are unique for different age groups and will bring in local experts to give insight on what makes Cherry Hills Village unique.
Cycles of Land, Farms & Food will familiarize fifth and sixth graders with the process of farm to table. Future farmers will get a hands-on look at the way dinner reaches their plates and all the components that contribute to proper food production.
Summer Camp Farm Style is a nature-based experience for kids in kindergarten through second grade. It is a safe environment to get their hands dirty touching bugs and farm animals, then relax in the grass with some yoga.
More information is available at the Kent Denver School Summer Session page. Registration ends soon!
