The Cherry Hills Land Preserve has announced a new fund, the Friends of Quincy Farm to facilitate private contributions for the long-term protection and preservation of the 17.5 parcel situated in the heart of the Village at the junction of Quincy Avenue and the Highline Canal. This land was recently donated by the Anderson family to the City of Cherry Hills Village, subject to a restrictive conservation easement.
The Cherry Hills Land Preserve sees Quincy Farm as an opportunity to partner with the local schools, environmental educational organizations, and the City of Cherry Hills Village to create a model of community conservation and sustainability and to provide education about our rural heritage and the natural environment. Engaging youth, families and adults through educational activities and volunteer opportunities is essential to inspiring the future stewards of Colorado.
